What is the minimum firmware requirement for iLinc?
Note: I have on my Insteon Controller PowerLinc V2 USB #2414U using the Smarthome Device Manager command "getFirmware" and it shows firmware version 2.13.
The physical markings on the outside of the controller module shows REV 2.0. :geek: :geek: :geek:

I took a look at my PowerLinc and I have the same firmware (2.13) installed. The REV version marked on my USB unit shows 2.1.

If you are hesitant to try iLinc, I'm expecting to have iLinc Lite (Free version, supports one device and one scene for configuration testing) approved next week.

Somewhere I read that the Device Manager 308 needs 2.8 or better?

Link: http://www.insteon.net/sdk/files/dm/docs/
Note: This copy of the Smarthome Device Manager is probably not up to date but in it says
Quote: "PowerLinc Controller Firmware Requirement: 2.8 or better"

I haven't heard about a 2.8 Rev. I've had my PowerLinc for a few years so I could be a bit behind.

I can tell you that I'm running SDM 308 on my XP machine with PowerLinc Rev 2.1 (2.13 Firmware) and eveything works great.

What you have is exactly what I have eg SDM 308 with firmware 2.13 :D :D :D

I would like to add that Insteon firmware version 2.13 (PowerLinc V2 USB model #2414U) is the latest firmware version from Smarthome in the last several years per SH.
